location is good (quiet and claim) (closed to station of cemberlitas). kind and helpfull staff. sea side views rooms are better. i adviece number 309 th room has a great view =) have enjoy in istanbul =)
first 2 days we havent a shower cabin. 3th day after back our room it was a big surprise, we have a shower cabin =) now we can take a shower and not get wet all bathroom =)
It is the best location for tourism. You can save transportation money because it is close to everything. This area is the best location in Istanbul. I recommend to all families to stay in this area. Concerning the hotel, it is only 5 minutes walk to get to the blue mosque, grocery stores and pharmacies are next door, hotel is surounded by restaurants, grand bazzar is 10 minutes walk, tram is less than 5 minutes away from hotel,...ect.
From outside it looks old. However it has been renewed from inside.
Freindly staff Good location to sight seen including Grand bazar, blue mosqe
Well fairly small rooms for 2 prople exteremely small washroom in the room, infact it was difecult for me to wash my face since the vanity is so small and the plate of glass where you put your tooth brush and stuff is very close to the sink, vanity
The Hotel is nice, the people from the staff were polite. Excellent location.
The location of the hotel is brilliant. It is located between the blue mosque and the grand bazaar, so very central. The staff was very friendly and willing to help to explore the city.
Excellent location. Blue Mosk, Grand Bazar in walking distance. Moreover Tram t1 brings you quickly to other places in town. Nice breakfast place with super view over the Sea of Marmara, We had a room with balcony and sea view (perfect). Staff very friendly and helpful (A.O.made prints for my talk at the conference). Free wifi everywhere in teh hotel.
Internet signal in the room should be stronger for business purposes. I suggest wired internet, which can be charged to cover costs. The breakfast coffee and fruit drinks could improve, in particular in a city which hsa good coffee and plenty of fruit.
What I don't like: the price was 180 euro for 2 nights. They converted in dollar = 244,10 dollar. I paid with my credietcard and now I see on my bank that they take 244,10 dollar, that is 64,10 euro to much. What can I do ???. I am now in Israel and I cannot go back to Istanbul for this 64,10 euro. Can www.Booked.net help me ? I think it was a mistake of the hotel and not a dishonesty.
Location was spot on - turn right out of the door & it was a short walk to the Blue Mosque, turn left and it was a short walk up the hill to the Grand Bazaar. We had a room at the back which avoided the street noise, and had a balcony.
Staff were good, furnuture was old and poor, room service was poor
toilet paper was one roll per day, no tissue boxes, shampoo and soap were modest
The various people and culture(s) in Istanbul were in general absolutely fabulous. I really had a wonderful time. Throughout my journey, I explored in Istanbul 3 different hotel categories and I am glad to say, that this hotel was in the end the best choice. The location is excellent if u like to stay central in the historic city area, but away from the 'mass' tourist mainstream. The whole team really cared about me and was available for help around the clock, day and night, mostly beyond what you could expect as a standard in this category. I had a big room with a spacious balcony, but even if u don't book it, on the roof deck u can enjoy the panoramic views. Promoting a great location as well as an enchanting atmosphere : ))
... they should improve the smoke-free conditions of such old facilities and imparting new vigor ...
This hotel with very friendly staff and good location.
The receptionist was helpful regarding the counceling for best tourism agencies and tours, places to visit, etc.
It is fair to let other future customers know that the `see-view rooms` are not actually ´fully see-view´ because the other (old) buildings in the area are obstructing the nice Marmara view.
